3D2N UYUNI SALT FLATS

Departure at 10:30 am from your accommodation or bus terminal
The tour begins with a visit to the train cemetery, Colchani, where you can see Salt Crafts and then enter the Uyuni salt flat. Inside the Salt Flats we will visit the Salt Piles, Eyes of the Salt Flats, Monument to the Dakar Rally, Salt Hotel (museum).
We will head to Incahuasi Island where you will see the giant cacti and calcareous rock formation. Along a path, we will climb to the highest part of the Island from where you can see a spectacular panoramic view of the Salar. We will have a photo session with very fun perspectives and then wait for the sunset on the Salar. Finally we will go to the town of San Juan to rest.

We start at 07:30 a.m. We will pass by the viewpoint of the Ollague volcano, an active volcano that is at 5,865 meters above sea level. We will visit Laguna Cañapa, Hedionda, Honda, Chiarcota, which are used by flamingos as feeding and resting points during their migratory movements. We will pass through the Siloli Desert where the Stone Tree is located, whose evolution and shape are due to the wind erosion of time, finally we will see the Laguna Colorada named after the reddish color of its waters and which is the entrance door to the Reserve. The tour starts at 05:00 am, you must be warm, we will begin with a visit to the Geysers (4,850 meters above sea level) you can observe volcanic activity, fumaroles that emanate toxic gas and boiling lava with a strong smell of sulfur, then we will enjoy a natural hot bath in Hot Springs (280C to 300C), Dalí Desert where rock formations can be seen, we will continue visiting Laguna Blanca and Laguna Verde which is located at the foot of the Licancabur Volcano (5,930 meters above sea level), if you like. Finish the tour in San Pedro (Chile) we will go to the Bolivia-Chile border Hito Cajones (optional transfer to San Pedro de Atacama at 09:30 a.m.). On the way back to Uyuni we will visit the Rock Valley where there are enormous and giant blocks of rocks, some on top of each other, reddish in color and polished by nature and wind erosion. Finally, we will pass through the town of San Cristobal. The approximate time of arrival in Uyuni is 5:30 p.m.
