Itinerary

Among the archaeological attractions in Tiahuanaco, we will visit the ‘Gate of the Sun’, one of the continent’s most significant archaeological sites: a megalithic gate carved from a single block of stone.

We will also visit other significant ruins of this enigmatic pre-Inca culture, such as the Kalasasaya Temple, believed to be a ritual platform built from enormous blocks of red sandstone. The Semi-Subterranean Temple and the Akapana Pyramid are structures that make Tiwanaku one of the most popular places to visit in Bolivia.

We will also visit the Ceramics Museum, which is dedicated to the pre-Columbian culture of Tiwanaku. It houses a collection of intricately crafted ceramic objects
